"### To Buy or Not to Buy? If this scent were a character in a movie, it would be the imitation Rolex salesman lurking on a street corner – superficially convincing at a glance, but utterly unconvincing upon closer examination. ### Olfactory Experience The opening blasts off with a citrus accord – primarily bergamot – but it’s underpinned by a disconcerting, almost metallic tang, like a poorly cleaned juicer. The ginger attempts to add some zest, but comes across as dried and powdered rather than fresh. The heart aims for green, grassy vetiver, but falls short. It lacks the crisp elegance, instead presenting a muddled, somewhat musty vetiver note alongside a sandalwood that smells suspiciously of synthetic cedar shavings. The iris is barely detectable, hiding behind a wall of chemical musk. The drydown is where things truly unravel: the promise of ambergris fades into an amorphous, vaguely sweet, and ultimately disappointing plasticky residue. It mimics the intended fragrance, but a noticeable, almost unpleasant, accord remains. ### How Long Does it Last? Longevity is surprisingly decent, clocking in around 5-6 hours. Projection, however, is initially strong – projecting a full arm's length for the first hour – before quickly receding to a skin scent. I tested this during a moderately active afternoon of errands and found it completely faded by dinnertime."
