The musk is clean, but overall this deviates from the clean sharpness of the original, ending with a slightly bitter, almost medicinal twinge. ### The Verdict This leans towards warmer weather, spring and early summer days. It’s best suited for daytime wear, but the synthetic notes make it unsuitable for truly formal occasions. This is more of a running errands, quick trip to the shops kind of scent. ### Longevity & Projection On my skin, Blenheim Impression lasts around 4-5 hours. Initially, it projects about an arm's length, creating a noticeable but not overwhelming aura. After the first hour, it settles much closer to the skin, becoming a subtle presence. I wore this to the office and later to a casual brunch. It performed better in the controlled, cooler environment of the office, where the synthetic notes were less pronounced. In the warmer outdoor setting, the chemical lavender became somewhat cloying."
