"### First Impressions & Dry Down Mohra strides boldly out of the gate with an initial blast of something akin to spiced pine needles – the cypress leaf clashes aggressively with the saffron, creating a medicinal vapor rub accord. The cardamom is present, yet muffled, struggling to cut through the initial intensity. The heart softens into a velvety, jammy rose, but an undercurrent of play-doh emerges, perhaps from the interaction of nutmeg and jasmine. The drydown is where Mohra takes a divergent path. The agarwood is less refined, more barnyard, combined with a rough hewn leather note that evokes the smell of a saddle left out in the rain. Cedar provides a dry counterpoint, attempting unsuccessfully to elevate the overall profile. ### The Verdict Wearing Mohra is like attending a grand ball in borrowed finery. The initial impression is undeniably striking, however, a closer inspection reveals the imperfections and shortcuts taken. Where the inspiration is a study in elegant restraint, Mohra is a bolder, brasher interpretation. There's a certain raw character in its audacity, but the overall experience lacks refinement and may come across as somewhat garish. If you crave a statement that commands attention without demanding sophistication, Mohra might suit you. ### How Long Does it Last? On skin, Mohra clings for around 6-7 hours. Initially, the projection is quite strong, filling a room easily within the first hour. It gradually retreats to within an arm's length for the remaining lifespan, becoming a skin scent by the sixth hour. Tested during a cool autumn day, it performed adequately, though the synthetic edge became more pronounced in the drier air."

"### The Verdict If Halfeti Impression were a movie character, it would be a loud, overly enthusiastic supporting character who tries a bit too hard to be the star. ### First Impressions & Dry Down Halfeti Impression opens with a forceful blast of medicinal saffron. I get a strong, almost mentholated cardamom that verges on Vicks VapoRub, definitely harsher than the smoother opening of the original. The rose emerges pretty quickly, but it's a jammy, syrupy rose, more like rosewater candy than a fresh bloom. The oud in the base is present from the start, lending a slightly rubbery, band-aid element. It lacks the smooth depth found in Penhaligon's Halfeti. As it dries down, the leather becomes more prominent, but it has a slightly plasticky, synthetic edge. ### Longevity & Projection On my skin, I get about 6-7 hours of wear, with strong projection for the first two hours – easily two arm lengths. I wore this to a dinner party and it filled the room immediately. Applied it at 6:30 pm and could smell it faintly just before bed at 11:30 pm."
