The lemon and mandarin provide a fleeting citrus sparkle, soon drowned by a pervasive sweetness. The heart introduces a creamy coconut, but it's a synthetic, suntan lotion variety. The cacao lurks beneath, adding a powdery, slightly bitter counterpoint. Instead of the oceanic depth expected from ambergris, there's a noticeable saltiness – like licking sweaty skin after a beach volleyball game. The drydown becomes a musky sandalwood haze, somewhat plasticky and blurring the initial bright fruitiness into a vaguely pleasant, if indistinct, warmth.
