Oud Jamal goes for that Tom Ford Black Orchid vibe, and honestly, it gets pretty close – say, 80-88%. The opening blasts with that truffle and gardenia, but there's a slightly sharper, synthetic edge here compared to the original's smoother delivery. It’s still impactful, just a little rougher around the edges. The heart develops with a spicy orchid note. Drier than Black Orchid, which feels more opulent. The dry down brings chocolate and patchouli, though the chocolate feels a little less rich.

How Long Does it Last?

Not bad at all for a clone. I get about 6-7 hours on my skin, which is respectable. The projection is moderate – noticeable for the first couple of hours, then it settles closer to the skin. It's an office-safe projection after the first hour or so.

Conclusion

If you love Black Orchid but can’t justify the price tag (and who can, really?), Oud Jamal is a solid alternative. It captures the essence, though with a few compromises. It's a great daily driver for cooler weather; wear it to work, on a date, or anytime you want to make a statement without breaking the bank. this is a winner.
