The slight increase in rum and synthetic woods do not make it trash. Ideal for fall evenings, date nights, or cozy gatherings. But for a daily driver? Wasted Moment delivers the vibe affordably.

First Impressions & Dry Down

Wasted Moment aims for Kilian's Apple Brandy on the Rocks, and gets respectably close. The opening bursts with a boozy apple cider vibe, heavy on the cardamom but brightened by a zesty bergamot. The heart amplifies the rum note a little more than the original, giving it a slightly "stronger drink" feel. It's not bad, just different. The dry down focuses on ambroxan and cedarwood. Here's where the differences become apparent. It lacks the rich oak barrel nuance of the Kilian. I'd say it achieves about 95% of the original's DNA.

The Performance Stats

Longevity is surprisingly good. Expect 6-7 hours on skin. Projection is moderate for the first 2 hours, creating a pleasant scent bubble. It settles closer to the skin after that. It's definitely noticeable, just not a room filler. You'll get whiffs of boozy apple throughout the day.
