Our objective metric for performance per dollar.
Olfactory Experience
Coffee Latte opens with a blast of dark coffee and almond liqueur, much like Amore Caffè. It's potent, but lacks the nuanced roasted bean quality of the Mancera. The heart brings in the promised ice cream and vanilla, creating a sweet, gourmand experience. The drydown leans heavily on brown sugar and vanilla, becoming somewhat cloying if oversprayed. Where it differs is in the ambergris base. Khadlaj's version smells synthetic, a bit scratchy compared to the smoother, more refined amber in Amore Caffè. I'd say it captures 88% of the original's DNA.
Projection Power
Performance is decent, especially . I get about 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first 2 hours. It settles closer to the skin after that. It projects well enough to be noticed without being obnoxious. A solid performer, especially point. It's not a perfect match, but it gets close enough for everyday wear. If you love the coffee-vanilla gourmand vibe but can't stomach the high price tag of the original, this is a solid choice. The synthetic ambergris is noticeable but not a dealbreaker. For pure value, this Khadlaj clone gets the job done.
