Sillage by Kinetic is a worthwhile purchase if you're curious about the Widian London scent profile but balk at the price tag. It's not a perfect match, it has a certain synthetic character that is a giveaway, but the core DNA is there. If you're on a budget and want a decent, long-lasting, Middle Eastern-leaning fragrance, this is a solid choice.

First Impressions & Dry Down

Sillage by Kinetic aims for Widian London. The opening hits you with a synthetic oud – not fecal, more like wood shavings dipped in violet candy. There's a cypress note trying its best to be green, but it's quickly overwhelmed. The heart offers a tart raspberry that's quite pleasant, fighting for dominance with a clean lily-of-the-valley. It's a decent attempt, but lacks the smooth transitions of the original. The drydown reveals a vanilla-amber base with a leathery accord. The leather isn't luxurious, more like pleather, but it's acceptable . I'd say it gets about 92% of the way there. The main difference? London feels polished, whereas this has rough edges.

Wear time & Sillage

Performance is where Kinetic generally shines. This one lasts a solid 6-7 hours on my skin. Projection is moderate for the first two hours, then settles closer to the skin. It won't fill a room, but people within arm's reach will notice it.
