The heart introduces a woody element, the promised agarwood, but it's a muted, almost papery oud. Patchouli is present, lending an earthy counterpoint to the sweetness, but it's dialed down. Benzoin adds a vanillic touch, smoothing the transition to the base. The drydown reveals a synthetic leather note, alongside Akigalawood, creating a peppery, woody ambery accord. It's approximately 89% similar to Oud Maracuja; the original possesses a smoother, more multifaceted fruit accord and higher quality oud.

Longevity is moderate, clocking in around 6 hours on skin. Projection is initially strong for the first hour, then settles closer to the skin. Don't expect beast mode. While it lacks the sophistication of Maison Crivelli's original, it captures the general vibe. If you are seeking a high quality oud fragrance, then the original is still king.
