The Verdict
It's a great daily driver for warm weather – ideal for the office, running errands, or casual outings. If you demand ultimate refinement and natural ingredients, then yes. A safe blind buy for fans of the genre.
Scent Breakdown
Al Dana throws a pretty good Hacivat impression, maybe 80-89% there. The initial blast is pineapple-citrus, bright and definitely has that signature Hacivat DNA. The grapefruit feels a bit sharper, a touch more synthetic compared to the smoother, more natural vibe in Nishane's offering. As it dries down, the cedar and patchouli become more prominent, giving it a green, woody character. The oakmoss base is noticeable, providing a nice earthy anchor, although it lacks some of the depth and richness of the original's moss. Bottom line: It's close, but the ingredients don't have the same high-quality feel.
How Long Does it Last?
Performance is solid. I get a solid 7-8 hours on skin with moderate projection for the first 2-3. It projects noticeably but doesn't fill a room. On clothing, it'll last even longer, easily a full workday. It's definitely office-appropriate in terms of projection, but be mindful of the opening, which can be potent.
