Badee Al Oud Amethyst aims for Initio's Atomic Rose, and it gets respectably close, say 87%. The opening blasts with pink pepper and a citrusy zing from bergamot, but the hedione here leans slightly sharper, a touch more synthetic. The heart is where it shines: Bulgarian and Turkish roses intertwine nicely, offering a jammy sweetness tempered by jasmine. It's a good rose accord, just not as richly textured as Atomic Rose. The drydown settles into a vanilla-amber base, which is pleasant but lacks the depth and muskiness of the original.

Wear time & Sillage

This one performs. Expect 6-8 hours on skin, projecting moderately for the first 2-3 hours. It definitely leaves a scent trail, so be mindful of application. Not a skin scent by any means.

Is it Worth It?

Badee Al Oud Amethyst is a solid alternative if you're after that Atomic Rose vibe without dropping serious cash. It's not a 1:1 dupe, and the synthetic edges are noticeable if you're familiar with the original. However, it's a well-performing, pleasant rose fragrance that gets the job done. If you can find it for under $35, and can't justify paying $300+ for Initio, this is a safe blind buy.
