The Scent Profile
Infini Musk opens with a bright citrus blast – bergamot and mandarin are definitely there. It aims for that clean, almost sterile musk, like Initio's Musk Therapy. The magnolia in the heart is noticeable, adding a creamy sweetness, and the black currant gives it a slight fruity tartness that the original dials back. The dry down is where it differs the most. It's got that sandalwood base, but it lacks the airy, almost ethereal quality of the original. I'd say it captures about 90% of Musk Therapy's DNA, but with a slightly rougher, more synthetic edge. Still, recognizably similar.
The Verdict
Infini Musk is a solid value play. Is it a perfect dupe? No. The original has a smoothness and refinement that this lacks. However, considering you can snag this for a tenth of the price, it's a fantastic option for everyday wear. If you love the idea of Musk Therapy but can't justify the cost, this is a very worthwhile alternative. Casual fragrance enjoyers or those new to the note of musk would find this easy to appreciate. Skip it if you only want the best or demand hyper-realistic clones.
Performance Reality Check
Longevity is surprisingly decent . I get about 6 hours on skin, projecting moderately for the first 2. After that, it becomes a skin scent. Not beast mode, but acceptable. Sprayed on clothing, it'll last a good deal longer.
