If you crave the Side Effect vibe but are unwilling to drop serious cash, Intro Aftermath is a decent alternative. It's not a perfect replica. You'll notice the cheaper ingredients, especially up close. But, from a distance, it captures the essence. If Side Effect is a perfectly aged whiskey, this is a decent spiced rum. Good enough for casual enjoyment. difference – the original costs around 10x more – this is a worthwhile compromise for the budget-conscious fragrance enthusiast. A solid buy if you temper your expectations.

How it Smells

Intro Aftermath opens with a boozy cinnamon blast. It’s not subtle. Side Effect’s opening is smoother, more integrated. This is maybe 91% similar in the opening, with a noticeable synthetic cinnamon edge that the original avoids. The heart is where it gets closer: tobacco and saffron emerge, giving a warm, spicy feel. The drydown is primarily vanilla and sandalwood. The sandalwood isn't the highest quality, but it gets the job done. It's a decent approximation of Side Effect’s cozy, slightly sweet base.

Projection Power

Projection is strong for the first two hours. You'll definitely be noticed. After that, it settles closer to the skin. Longevity is respectable. I get around 6-7 hours on my skin. Not bad point. Re-application might be needed for a full day.
