Wearing Ishq Al Shuyukh Silver is like opting for a sugary substitute instead of the real deal. While it provides a similar sweet impression, it trades sophistication for a synthetic edge. You gain projection for a short period but lose the refinement and balanced composition of the original. If all you are concerned about is that immediate sweet candy blast, then this could work in a pinch, but be prepared for it to be a louder, simpler, and less refined experience.

First Impressions & Dry Down

Ishq Al Shuyukh Silver opens with a blast of something akin to grape soda mixed with a hint of industrial cleaner. The promised plum is there, but it’s a saccharine, artificial plum candy rather than fresh fruit. The hazelnut in the heart attempts to smooth things out, but the honey note leans towards burnt sugar territory, giving it a cloying sweetness. Cedarwood provides a dry counterpoint, but the overall effect remains unbalanced. The base of amberwood dominates, lending a synthetic, scratchy feel that lacks the depth of real amber. The patchouli is a whisper, and the oakmoss struggles to emerge from under the synthetic veil. It diverges significantly from the intended inspiration; while it shares a vague sweetness, it lacks the smoothness and nuance.

Projection Power

Longevity is surprisingly robust, clocking in at around 6-7 hours. Projection is initially strong, projecting easily beyond arm's reach for the first hour or two, but it quickly settles down to a skin scent. I wore this to a casual gathering and found it became somewhat tiresome after a few hours due to its persistent sweetness.
