La Collection 1886 is Lattafa's take on Dior Homme Intense, and it's surprisingly close. The opening throws a decent lavender and bergamot punch, a bit rougher than DHI, but acceptable. The iris in the heart is where this shines. It's powdery and somewhat waxy, attempting the lipstick vibe of the original. I'd say it captures about 80% of DHI's iris accord. The drydown is a woody-leathery affair, leaning a little more synthetic cedar than the smooth sandalwood of DHI. There is a slight harshness compared to the original's refined base.
How Long Does it Last?
This clone performs decently. Expect around 6-7 hours of longevity, with projection that's moderate for the first two hours before settling closer to the skin. Don't expect beast mode. It's office-appropriate, certainly.

La Collection 1886 is a solid alternative to Dior Homme Intense. Is it a perfect dupe? No. There's a slight synthetic edge, particularly in the base, but it's hard to argue.
