Scent Breakdown

Maharjan Silver kicks off with a bright, citrusy bang. Bergamot and mandarin are definitely there, though a bit sharper and more synthetic than the natural zest you get in Creed's Silver Mountain Water. The green tea note is present, but it's more of a general "green" accord than a nuanced tea. The blackcurrant heart is okay, adding a slightly tart touch. The base is where it deviates most. It's musky and woody, but the sandalwood feels a little generic compared to the smoother dry down of the original. Overall, it gets you about 87% of the way to Silver Mountain Water.

How Long Does it Last?

Projection is moderate for the first hour or two, creating a decent scent bubble. Longevity is respectable . I get about 5-6 hours on my skin before it fades into a faint skin scent. It's not a beast mode fragrance, but it does the job for a workday.
