The Scent Profile
Qimmah for Women opens with an immediate blast of almond and robust coffee. The almond leans slightly synthetic, lacking the nuanced marzipan quality of higher-end compositions. The coffee note, however, is a decent rendition – dark and slightly bitter, offering a counterpoint to the initial sweetness. Transitioning to the heart, tuberose takes center stage, supported by jasmine sambac and a touch of orange blossom. The floral accord is recognizable as an interpretation of Good Girl, but it lacks the creamy smoothness and refined character. The drydown introduces tonka bean, cacao, and vanilla, creating a gourmand base. This phase is where the clone diverges most noticeably; the cacao feels powdery and less rich, and the vanilla lacks the depth and complexity found in the original. Overall, it captures approximately 88% of Good Girl's DNA.
How Long Does it Last?
Longevity is moderate. I get about 5-6 hours on skin, with projection initially strong for the first hour, then settling into a closer skin scent. Sillage is present, but not overpowering. However, be aware of the synthetic edges and the slight deviations from the original's luxurious feel. For someone seeking a refined and high-quality experience, investing in the genuine article is still warranted. But, for a casual, everyday wear, Qimmah performs adequately.
