If Explorer costs 10x more, then Rave Now becomes an easy recommendation. It's a great everyday work scent or gym fragrance where you don't want to waste your expensive juice. Scent Breakdown

Rave Now aims squarely at Montblanc Explorer, and it gets respectably close. The opening bursts with bergamot and a noticeable pink pepper kick; sharper than Explorer, a bit more synthetic. The clary sage is there, adding a green nuance, but it's less refined. The heart is where the divergence becomes clearer. The vetiver is present but lacks the smooth earthiness of the original. The leather accord feels more like suede than rugged leather. The base shares that ambroxan-woodiness characteristic of Explorer.
