The Scent Profile

Rhagba throws a pretty decent punch . The opening aims for that oud and spice vibe of 24 Gold, but it's a touch rougher around the edges. You get the woods, a floral hint of jasmine, but the guaiac wood is sharper, more obviously synthetic. The dry down is where it gets closer to the original. Vanilla and amber come forward, softened by sandalwood. It's maybe 85% there, missing some of the smooth richness of the original. Still, not bad.

Final Thoughts

Rhagba isn't a perfect recreation of 24 Gold, but it offers a good approximation . If you like the idea of a sweet, woody amber fragrance but can't stomach the price tag of the original, this is a solid option. Is 24 Gold ten times better? Absolutely not. For the budget-conscious fragrance enthusiast, Rhagba is a worthy gamble. Just be aware of that slightly synthetic opening.

How Long Does it Last?

Projection is moderate for the first hour, enough to get noticed without choking anyone out. Longevity is surprisingly good. I get a solid 6-7 hours on skin, easily extending to 8+ on clothing. Not beast mode, but respectable, especially considering how little this costs.
