Teriaq

The Scent Profile

Teriaq starts with a juicy pear note, similar to La Belle, but with a slightly sharper bergamot kick. It's not quite as smooth. The heart throws a mixed bouquet of florals into the mix, alongside a subtle leather accord. I get more of a suede feel than straight-up leather. Where Teriaq really deviates is the base. While La Belle has a prominent vanilla, this goes heavier on the amber and vetiver. It's a bit earthier, less sugary. I'd say it captures about 88% of La Belle's vibe, with a twist.

The Performance Stats

This stuff performs. Seriously. I get a solid 7-8 hours on my skin, and it projects noticeably for the first 3-4. It leaves a nice scent trail without being obnoxious. Two sprays max. Any more, and you're risking overkill in an office setting.

The Verdict

Teriaq is a winner. If you love La Belle but can't justify the cost, or you want something with a bit more edge, grab this. The vanilla in La Belle is gorgeous but maybe too sweet for some. The slight leather and vetiver twist here makes it a bit more versatile, day or night. Not unless you're a die-hard La Belle fan looking for that extra 88% of smoothness and refinement. This will get you 88% of the way there, and that's a steal.
