Afternoon Dive aims squarely for Louis Vuitton's Afternoon Swim, and gets respectably close – I’d say 95% there. The opening is a blast of juicy orange and a noticeable ginger zing. The mandarin follows quickly, but lacks the natural vibrancy of the LV original. There's a slightly synthetic edge here, but it fades quickly. The drydown introduces a pleasant, clean musk and a hint of iris. The iris adds a powdery depth absent in Afternoon Swim, making this clone a touch less bright, but giving it decent staying power.

Longevity & Projection

Projection is moderate for the first hour. It creates a nice citrus bubble around you. After that, it settles into a skin scent for another 3-4 hours. Reapplication is necessary if you want it to last through the day.

To Buy or Not to Buy?

Afternoon Dive is a solid choice if you crave the Afternoon Swim vibe without the luxury price tag. It's not a perfect replica; it lacks some of the original's refined naturalness. However, for the money, you get a very wearable, pleasant citrus fragrance. Is Afternoon Swim ten times better? Absolutely not. If you're on a budget, or just don’t want to splurge on the LV, grab this and spray liberally. It's perfect for summer days. Just be prepared to reapply.
