North Stag's Quatre IV tries its best to mimic Louis Vuitton's Afternoon Swim, and initially, it lands close. The bright orange and ginger opening is definitely there, a zesty citrus punch. But, right away, you notice a slight synthetic edge that the original avoids. The heart moves into mandarin and pepper, a decent impression, though the pepper is amped up slightly more than Afternoon Swim. The base of iris and musk is where the divergence widens. It’s less refined, a touch powdery, and lacks the smooth, airy quality of the LV. I’d put it around 75-85% similar to the original overall. It's a recognizable scent, but lacks the luxurious nuance.

Projection Power

Projection is moderate for the first hour, creating a pleasant, if somewhat loud, scent bubble. After that, it settles closer to the skin. Longevity is decent, clocking in around 5-6 hours. You might get whiffs of it later, but it becomes a skin scent relatively quickly. Perfectly acceptable point. It’s not a perfect match, and the synthetic feel is undeniable, but it delivers a respectable impression . If you're a stickler for quality and crave the real deal, save up for Afternoon Swim. However, if you want a casual, warm-weather fragrance that won't break the bank, Quatre IV is worth considering. But for everyday wear? This gets the job done.
