Cosmopolitan London aims for Guerlain's Cuir Intense, and lands reasonably close, perhaps 86% of the way there. The initial blast features a noticeable osmanthus, less refined than the original, a tad sharper. The ylang-ylang plays a supporting role, adding a hint of floral sweetness. The heart is where the leather steps forward. It's a more straightforward, less nuanced leather than Cuir Intense; it lacks the velvety smoothness. There's a musky undertone, pleasant enough. As it dries down, the tobacco note emerges, drier and somewhat ashy. The sandalwood and cedar provide a woody base, but they're fairly subdued. The major difference? Cosmopolitan London has a slight synthetic edge, especially in the opening.

Conclusion

Cosmopolitan London is a solid option if you want a taste of Cuir Intense without breaking the bank. It's a good work scent or everyday wear. The synthetic aspects are noticeable, but not deal-breakers. If you demand the highest quality and have the cash, go for the Guerlain. But if you're a value hunter, this gets you most of the way there . This is a good budget alternative.

Longevity & Projection

Longevity is decent. I get around 6 hours on my skin, which is respectable . Projection is moderate for the first hour, then it settles closer to the skin. It's not a room-filler. Don't expect beast mode.
