Scent Breakdown
Glorify bursts open with a juicy mandarin that quickly merges with a candied pineapple note. The orange isn't photorealistic, instead more like an orange Starburst wrapper. The heart shifts into something...odd. That "ozonic" accord smells strikingly like damp towels left too long in a gym bag, a peculiar juxtaposition against the sweet fruits. Hints of amber try to smooth things out, but the violet comes across powdery and a little cloying. The base is where things unfortunately fall apart: the musk is sharp, almost like white musk laundry detergent, and the sandalwood is a phantom. The birch introduces a burnt rubber nuance that clashes hard with the sweetness. Gumin has a smoother, almost creamy transition; Glorify has noticeable rough edges in the later stages.
Bottom Line
If Gumin is a silk scarf, Glorify is polyester. You gain a similar fruity opening but you sacrifice the sophisticated development and smooth, creamy drydown of the original. Instead, you’re left with synthetic undercurrents and a discordant base. If you appreciate a sweet and fruity experience at all costs, this might work. But this daily driver will likely stay parked more often than not.
Longevity & Projection
Glorify hangs around for a solid 6 hours, though it becomes a skin scent after the 3-hour mark. Projection is moderate for the first hour, extending about an arm's length. I wore it on a brisk walk and then again in a climate-controlled office; the humidity seemed to amplify the unpleasant musty facets of the "ozonic" accord.
