TROIS III by Paris Corner presents a bright, citrus-forward opening, led by a synthetic bergamot note that lacks the natural zest found in Louis Vuitton's Imagination. The tea accord in the heart is present but feels somewhat diluted, missing the refined, smoky character of the original. The black pepper is noticeable, adding a mild spicy edge. The dry down is where the similarity peaks. Ambroxan provides an ambergris-like backbone, coupled with a clean musk and generic woody notes. It captures roughly 87% of Imagination's essence, but the quality of ingredients is demonstrably lower, resulting in a harsher overall impression.

The Performance Stats

Longevity is moderate. I get about 5-6 hours on skin. Projection is initially strong for the first hour, then settles close to the skin. It creates a noticeable scent bubble, but don't expect it to fill a room. It performs adequately point. While it doesn't fully replicate the original's sophisticated nuances and higher quality ingredients, it’s a passable substitute. If you crave the general scent profile of Imagination and are unwilling to spend the considerable amount for LV, this is a viable option. Those seeking a higher degree of fidelity should save up for the real deal.
