Yes, it has some synthetic notes, particularly in the opening and base. But honestly, they're not deal-breakers. Egra Men allows you to project an image of understated elegance without breaking the bank. Perfect for the office or a casual weekend brunch.

How it Smells

Egra Men opens with a blast of lemon verbena, mimicking Green Irish Tweed's initial green burst, but with a slightly sharper, more synthetic edge. The iris is present, lending a powdery, clean feel, but lacks the refined creaminess of the Creed. The heart of violet leaf emerges quickly, creating that crisp, almost metallic green accord. It’s here the similarities are most striking – I'd say it's 91% there. The base attempts to replicate the ambergris and sandalwood, resulting in a woody, musky dry down. But where GIT has a natural, oceanic depth, Egra Men's base feels a bit flat.

Longevity & Projection

This isn't a beast mode fragrance. Expect about 5-6 hours of wear with moderate projection for the first hour. Then, it settles closer to the skin. It's a decent performer, especially considering the price point. You may need to re-apply if you want a stronger presence throughout the day.
