Olfactory Experience

Egra Women opens with a blast of sharp bergamot and something akin to candied orange peel, not quite as refined as the floral elegance of its inspiration. The heart leans heavily into a powdery musk, bordering on the scent of clean laundry sheets left too long in a hot dryer. It diverges significantly in the base; instead of a smooth, creamy drydown, the vetiver presents a slightly bitter, almost grassy note that clashes with the vanilla. There's a perceptible chalkiness there too. It captures the overall essence, but swaps subtleties for a more straightforward composition.

Longevity & Projection

On my skin, Egra Women lasts a solid 6 hours, maybe pushing to 7 if I'm lucky. Projection is moderate for the first hour, extending to maybe an arm's length, then settles closer to the skin. I tested this during a busy day of errands and found it held up okay, though the powdery musk became slightly cloying in the afternoon heat. I re-applied around hour 5.

Is it Worth It?

This is a dependable daily fragrance for running errands, casual coffee dates, or when you want a clean, inoffensive scent. It's office-appropriate, provided you don't overspray. Think of it as your "jeans and t-shirt" scent – unfussy, reliable, and suitable for situations where you want to smell pleasant without making a grand statement. Not a first-date fragrance, but fine for a quick trip to the grocery store.
