La Yuqawam begins with a bracing herbal blast – thyme dominates initially, but there's a noticeable undercurrent of something akin to charred rubber. The saffron is subtle, thankfully avoiding any medicinal cliches, though the olibanum struggles to cut through the dominant leather accord. The heart is where this diverges significantly. Instead of a refined floral whisper, the jasmine here comes across as overly indolic, almost bordering on mothballs. The leather itself is a dominant force, a dark and animalic accord that leans towards creosote. The drydown settles into a somewhat plasticky suede, undercut by generic woody notes and a cloying amber that lacks sophistication. It echoes the inspiration but substitutes nuanced elegance for raw intensity.

To Buy or Not to Buy?

This scent thrives in situations where making a statement is paramount. Think biker bar, rock concert, or any evening event where a rebellious attitude is encouraged.
