The initial blast leans heavily on the cinnamon, a sharp, almost candied version that deviates from the smoother, more nuanced tobacco in Creed's Centaurus. The heart introduces sandalwood and patchouli; the sandalwood here is quite linear and lacks the creamy depth present in the original. Heliotrope adds a powdery sweetness. The base reveals benzoin, tolu balsam, and bourbon vanilla, creating a resinous, slightly gourmand accord. This aspect is where Crimson gets closest to Centaurus, but it lacks the complexity and refinement, coming off as slightly synthetic. Overall, it captures approximately 88% of the Centaurus DNA.

How Long Does it Last?

Longevity is moderate, clocking in around 5-6 hours on skin. Projection is decent for the first hour, creating a noticeable scent bubble before settling closer to the skin. It projects less intensely than the original.
