Sehr Al Sheila is a great option if you love Santal Royal but don't want to shell out the big bucks. It has some synthetic edges, especially in the opening, but it’s a very good clone . If you are looking for a solid everyday rose-oud fragrance for fall and winter, this is an easy grab. If you demand the highest quality ingredients and that extra 90% of depth and complexity, stick with the Guerlain. But for most people, this is a winner.

First Impressions & Dry Down

Sehr Al Sheila comes out swinging with a potent jasmine and neroli combo, just like Santal Royal. However, the initial blast here is noticeably sharper, a bit more synthetic. The heart reveals a jammy rose, a touch of cinnamon spice, and a hint of peach – pretty close to the original Guerlain. The dry down is where the differences become more apparent. The oud is dialed down, making it more wearable. The sandalwood is creamy, but lacks the depth of the original. Overall, it's about 90% similar to Santal Royal.

How Long Does it Last?

Expect solid performance from Sehr Al Sheila. I get around 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first two hours, then it settles closer. It projects nicely without being overwhelming. Good for office wear if you apply with a light hand.
