Janoon Noir opens with a zesty kumquat that quickly mellows into a lime cleaner accord. This initial brightness, while sharp, is fleeting. The heart leans heavily into a powdery Italian iris, distinct but less refined than the inspiration. Instead of the creamy vanilla in Dama Bianca, this develops a malt note that is oddly reminiscent of stale Cheerios, layered over a synthetic violet. The drydown offers a subdued ambrette that softens the sharper edges, but the vanilla struggles to emerge, leaving a plasticky residue. It shares a similar DNA to its muse, but it lacks the luxuriousness.

Projection Power

Longevity is surprisingly tenacious, clinging to the skin for around six hours. Projection is moderate, extending about an arm's length for the first two hours before settling closer to the skin.
