It's a great everyday option. Perfect for work, dates, or just running errands. But if you want the absolute best version, and money is no object, then go for the MFK. But for the rest of us? Untold gets the job done.
The Scent Profile
Club de Nuit Untold comes on strong. That saffron and jasmine opening blasts off, but it's not quite as refined as Baccarat Rouge. There's a slight synthetic edge initially, almost like burnt plastic, but it fades quickly. The heart of amberwood and ambergris leans a bit woodier than the original, less sweet cotton candy and more… well, woody amber. The drydown of fir resin, cedar, and musk adds a grounding element. It gets you 95% of the way to Baccarat Rouge. It's very close, but the higher-end ingredients of the original shine through with smoother transitions.
How Long Does it Last?
This stuff projects! Two sprays are plenty. Any more, and you might gas out a small room. It lasts a solid 8+ hours on my skin. I could still smell it faintly on my clothes the next day. the performance is insane.
