Niche Purple Amethyst opens bright and fruity, a citrusy grapefruit and peach combo. It's pretty close to L'Eau de Chloé, maybe 92% there in the initial blast. The rose is prominent, a fresh, watery rose, not jammy or heavy. The violet adds a powdery touch, making it feminine and clean. The dry down leans a little sharper than L'Eau de Chloé. The patchouli is noticeable but not overbearing, more clean than earthy. There's a slightly synthetic edge in the oakmoss here that the original avoids; it gives it a bit of a "hairspray" vibe in the base.

The Performance Stats

Longevity is decent . I get around 5-6 hours on skin. Projection is moderate; it's not going to fill a room, but creates a nice personal bubble. Perfect for the office. You might need to reapply midday if you want it to last all day and into the evening.

Final Thoughts

It's not a perfect dupe but gets you close enough. Good for everyday wear, especially in warmer months. The synthetic edge in the base might bother some, but difference, it's something you can overlook. If L'Eau de Chloé is 10/10 in quality, this is a solid 7/10.
