Our objective metric for performance per dollar.
Bottom Line
Sauville Pour Femme is a decent, affordable option if you like the Live Irresistible DNA but don't want to shell out the big bucks. It's a crowd-pleasing, sweet, fruity floral that works well for casual occasions and everyday wear. If you're after a high-end, refined fragrance experience, stick with the original.
How it Smells
Sauville Pour Femme goes for the general vibe of Givenchy's Live Irresistible, but doesn't nail a perfect recreation. I'd put it around 87% similar. The opening is a blast of fruity sweetness - pineapple and tangerine definitely pop, though with a slightly sharper, more synthetic edge than the real deal. The rose is there, but muted. As it dries, the passionfruit kicks in, adding a tropical twist, while a peppery note gives it a needed bite. The praline and vanilla base is similar to Live Irresistible, but leans a little more sugary and less sophisticated. Patchouli is barely noticeable, which is a good thing for those who dislike it.
Performance Reality Check
For an Armaf, the performance is solid. I get about 6-7 hours on my skin, with moderate projection for the first couple of hours. It's not a beast mode fragrance, but it's definitely noticeable without being overwhelming. Perfect for daytime wear.
