Surf by Armaf is a decent attempt at capturing the essence of CH Men Sport, hitting around 90% of the mark. The opening bursts with a bright, synthetic bergamot and grapefruit. It lacks the natural zest of the original. The sage adds a herbal touch, trying to smooth the sharpness. The heart brings in aquatic notes, alongside a peppery kick and a hint of juniper. It's fresh, but noticeably more artificial than CH Men Sport. The drydown is where it deviates most. Sandalwood is present, but it leans towards a cheaper, woody aroma, missing the smooth sophistication. Oakmoss and vetiver are there, lending a slightly earthy base.

How Long Does it Last?

Don't expect miracles. Surf projects moderately for the first hour, then settles close to the skin. Longevity is average; expect around 4-5 hours. A respray is needed to keep it going through the day. This is a fragrance for quick errands or casual situations, not a marathon. If you're obsessed with natural ingredients or crave exceptional performance, skip it. However, if you want a similar vibe and are okay with some synthetic edges, it's worth considering. This is a good dumb reach for everyday use.
