Final Thoughts
Tag-Him is a solid daily driver if you want the Bleu de Chanel experience without the hefty price tag. If you're on a budget, absolutely grab this. If you demand absolute quality and smoothness, stick with Bleu de Chanel. Tag-Him is a perfectly acceptable substitute for casual wear.
Olfactory Experience
Armaf's Tag-Him tries hard to capture the Bleu de Chanel vibe, and gets respectably close. The opening is a blast of grapefruit and lemon, pretty sharp and a bit synthetic. You definitely get the mint, but it's not as refined as the original. The heart brings in a spicy ginger and nutmeg that leans a little harsher, lacking Chanel's smoothness. Jasmine is barely detectable. The drydown is where it's closest: a woody amber with a hint of incense. It's about 89% similar to BDC, but the differences are noticeable if you know the real deal.
Projection Power
the performance is impressive. It lasts about 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first 2 hours. After that, it settles into a skin scent. Not bad at all for a budget fragrance. I've worn it to work and received compliments.
