Final Thoughts
Impactus is a worthwhile daily driver. If you’re obsessed with the nuances of Invictus Victory Elixir, you'll notice the differences, but most people won't. It's a solid, sweet, and slightly spicy fragrance that's easy to wear. If you can find this for under $30, it's a no brainer.
The Scent Profile
Immpactus by Dubai Essences kicks off with a blast of lemon and pepper, aiming for that Invictus Victory Elixir brightness. The incense note is dialed back here, making it less smoky and a touch more generic in the opening. It’s probably 91% in the ballpark of the OG. As it dries down, the lavender and vanilla become more prominent. The tonka and patchouli try to add some depth, but they come off a little synthetic. This is where it deviates most from the Elixir, lacking that rich, gourmand edge.
The Performance Stats
Longevity is decent. I get a solid 5-6 hours. Projection is moderate for the first hour or so, then settles into a skin scent. You’ll get noticed initially, but it won’t fill a room. A couple extra sprays helps it pop.
