First Impressions & Dry Down
La Vida De Vivi Fleur comes on strong with that familiar black currant and pear. It's instantly recognizable as a "La Vie Est Belle" type of fragrance. The opening is maybe 90% close to the original, though it has a slightly sharper, more synthetic edge. The heart unfolds with the iris, jasmine, and orange blossom, and here is where you notice the biggest difference. The floral notes feel a touch less refined, a little bit louder. The dry down gets you back on track with praline, vanilla, and patchouli, creating that sweet, gourmand base that made LVEB so popular. It's a comforting finish, just not quite as seamlessly blended as the OG.
How Long Does it Last?
For a clone, this performs surprisingly well. On my skin, I get a solid 6-7 hours of noticeable projection, leaving a sweet trail for the first 3 hours. It becomes a skin scent after that, but it definitely sticks around. Not bad at all point.
Bottom Line
It captures the essence of the original for everyday wear. It's not a perfect dupe, but at maybe a tenth of the price, you're getting a good deal. Perfect for work, running errands, or casual outings. If you're a die-hard LVEB fan, you'll notice the differences, but for the average person looking for a sweet, long-lasting fragrance, this is a great choice.
