First Impressions & Dry Down
Supreme Oud aims squarely for Oud for Greatness. The opening is a blast of saffron and nutmeg, that familiar spicy-sweet combo. The lavender is there but muted, unlike the original which uses it to create a slight aromatic freshness up top. The heart is all oud, but it's not a barnyard oud. This is a more refined, almost medicinal oud. As it dries down, you get a patchouli-musk base, similar to Initio's, but with a slightly harsher synthetic edge. I'd say it's about 80-87% close to the original, with the main difference being a slightly less refined and more synthetic feel in the base.
Wear time & Sillage
the performance is solid. I get about 6-7 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first 2 hours, then it settles closer. It projects a little more off clothing. Not beast mode, but respectable for a daily wear. Yes, it has a *touch* of synthetic harshness, but it's not a dealbreaker. This is a great grab for someone who wants to explore oud fragrances or needs an office-friendly oud that won't break the bank. Is the original 10x better? Not even close. This is a solid daily driver for cooler weather.
