Olfactory Experience
Adicto Noir aims for Dior's Addict, and it gets respectably close – I'd say about 87%. The initial blast is juicy blackberry with a slightly green mandarin leaf. It's bright, but there's a noticeable synthetic edge compared to the real deal. The heart unfolds with jasmine and orange blossom, trying hard to mimic Addict's creamy floral sweetness. However, the clone leans a bit sharper here. The drydown is where it shines. Vanilla and tonka bean create a warm, comforting base, though the sandalwood is faint. It lacks the depth and complexity of Addict, but it's still pleasant.
Longevity & Projection
For an inexpensive clone, the performance is decent. I get about 6 hours on my skin with moderate projection for the first 2 hours. It projects a scent bubble but doesn't fill the room. It settles closer to the skin after that. Don't expect beast mode. The synthetic opening might deter some, but the drydown is worth the wait. It's a great everyday scent for cooler weather, perfect for casual outings or date nights.
