Is it Worth It?
Perfectly Pink is for the individual who appreciates the *idea* of Perfect Intense but isn't committed to the price tag. It’s a great daytime choice. This works for a woman who projects gentle confidence, an approachable aura. A great "running errands" or "coffee date" fragrance. The synthetic edges are noticeable upon close inspection, but in the air, it's a pleasant, floral-almond experience. If you're happy with a close approximation, Perfectly Pink delivers.
How it Smells
Perfectly Pink opens with a blast of white florals, narcissus and jasmine. It captures the original's intent, but the jasmine leans a bit sharper, a tad more synthetic in this iteration. It's about 90% of Perfect Intense. The almond heart emerges quicker, lending a comforting creaminess. This softens the initial floral assault. The sandalwood base is present, though fainter than in the Marc Jacobs fragrance. It adds a grounding warmth but lacks the depth of the original.
Projection Power
Longevity is moderate. I get about 4-5 hours on my skin. Projection is arms-length for the first hour, then it settles closer. It's a noticeable scent, but not a room filler. You'll get gentle wafts throughout the wear. Reapplication is definitely needed for a full day's wear.
