Scentonym Analysis
Our objective metric for performance per dollar.
First Impressions & Dry Down
Sincerity opens with a juicy pear and pineapple blast, a bit sharper and more synthetic than the refined bergamot in Gentleman. The cardamom is there, adding a spicy warmth. As it dries down, the iris comes forward, but it's less powdery, more green. You get lavender and geranium for a fresh, floral middle. The base is where it differs most from Gentleman. The leather note isn't as smooth or prominent; the patchouli is dialed up, making it a bit dirtier. It’s probably 87% similar overall. It scratches the same itch, but you can tell it's not the real deal.
Wear time & Sillage
the performance is decent. Expect about 5-6 hours on skin, projecting moderately for the first hour or two. It becomes a skin scent afterward. Not a room filler, but definitely noticeable up close. I got around 7-8 hours on clothing but projection suffered after the opening. If you love the scent profile but don't want to drop the big bucks, this is a good choice. This is a great daily driver for the office or a casual night out. If you need something for a special occasion, maybe consider splurging for the original. But for everyday wear, Sincerity gets the job done.
