The Verdict

Fursan White is a solid budget option for Vanilla Powder fans. If you crave that creamy, woody vanilla but balk at the original's price tag, this is a worthwhile compromise. Is it as refined? No. But at a tenth of the price, the compromises are acceptable. Perfect for everyday wear, layering, or someone just starting to explore vanilla fragrances. If you are a Vanilla Powder purist, stick with the OG.

How it Smells

Fursan White aims for Vanilla Powder, and gets respectably close. The opening is a blast of vanilla, but it's immediately apparent this is a budget version. There's a slightly synthetic edge, think vanilla extract instead of a proper vanilla bean. The coconut in the heart emerges quickly, adding a creamy sweetness. The Palo Santo is present, lending a woody backbone but is a little subdued compared to the original Matiere Premiere. The drydown is mostly white musk, clean and linear. I'd say it captures 90% of Vanilla Powder's DNA, but lacks the depth and nuance.

Wear time & Sillage

Performance is surprisingly good . It projects moderately for the first 2 hours, creating a nice scent bubble. Longevity is decent; I get around 6-7 hours on skin, which is acceptable. It becomes a skin scent after the third hour. Don't expect beast mode, but it’s not fleeting.
