To Buy or Not to Buy?
Infini is for the man who appreciates the Aventus vibe but balks at the price tag. Is it a perfect replica? No. The synthetic edges are noticeable, especially in the opening. But for a tenth of the price, it delivers a respectable impression. If you're chasing pure quality and nuanced blending, stick with Creed. If you want a daily driver that smells good without breaking the bank, Infini is a solid choice. It’s perfect for the confident, yet thrifty, individual.
Notes & Nuances
Infini opens with a blast of juicy pineapple. It's undeniably Aventus-inspired, hitting about 80% of the original's target. The initial fruit is a bit sharper, a touch more synthetic around the edges than Creed's smoother delivery. The heart develops quickly. Birch is present, smoky but not as refined. Jasmine peeks through, adding a subtle floral counterpoint. The drydown is where it noticeably veers. Khadlaj leans heavily on a musky vanilla, softening the oakmoss. Aventus has more of that ashy wood. It’s a crowd-pleasing finish, but it loses some of the original's complexity.
The Performance Stats
Longevity is surprisingly decent. I get around 6-7 hours on skin. Projection is moderate for the first hour, then settles closer to the body. It's not a room filler. Think intimate conversations, not stadium announcements. Reapplication might be needed for all-day wear.
