Our objective metric for performance per dollar.
Conclusion
It's not a perfect dupe, lacking some of the nuance and quality of the original. But it's a fantastic option for cooler weather. Wear it on date night or to a casual gathering. If you're okay with a bit of a rougher, more synthetic edge, Ka Fede Oud for Victory will scratch that itch .
Scent Breakdown
Ka Fede Oud for Victory comes on strong with a boozy cherry and a peppery kick, pretty close to Narcotic Delight (maybe 87% there). Initio's has a smoother opening, while this one has a slight synthetic edge, especially that cherry. It dries down into a warm, comforting mix of vanilla and tobacco. I don't get much oud, despite the name. The cognac note is present, but less pronounced than in the original. Think of it as a less refined, more straightforward take on the same idea.
Longevity & Projection
This stuff lasts a good 6-7 hours on my skin. Projection is moderate for the first couple of hours, then it settles closer. It won't fill a room, but people will notice it if they're near you. It's not beast mode, but solid daily performance.
