The Verdict
Bella Reve Dolce Fior is for the girl who loves sweet, flirty scents. She's not afraid to wear pink and probably owns several pairs of sparkly shoes. It's fun and youthful. If you adore Tresor Midnight Rose but can't justify the price tag, this is a solid alternative. However, be aware of the slightly synthetic base. But if you simply want a pretty, raspberry rose fragrance on a budget, this hits the spot.
Notes & Nuances
La Fede Bella Reve Dolce Fior opens with a juicy, candied raspberry. The rose is present, but it's shy compared to the original Tresor Midnight Rose. Instead of that deep, almost wine-like rose, Khadlaj's version leans sweeter, almost bubblegum. The cassis heart is where the similarity strengthens, that berry-tinged darkness coming forward. A touch of pink pepper adds a needed sparkle, but the peony feels a little…thin. The dry down smooths with vanilla and musk, but a synthetic cedar note lingers. It's a close cousin to Tresor Midnight Rose, maybe 89%. It lacks the depth and expensive feel, particularly in the base.
Projection Power
Projection is moderate for the first hour, creating a nice scent bubble. After that, it sits closer to the skin. Longevity is decent, about 5-6 hours on my skin. It needs reapplication to keep the vibe alive.
