How it Smells
Le Prestige Bold jumps right into that familiar Baccarat Rouge ballpark. You get the saffron and that slightly medicinal sweetness immediately, thanks to the bitter almond. It’s not quite as refined as the MFK original. There's a *hint* of a synthetic edge in the opening that the real deal just doesn't have. The jasmine and cedar in the heart are present, but the ambergris in the base is where this veers off slightly. It's a woodier, muskier ambergris, less airy and more grounded than BR540 Extrait. I'd say it's 80-90% similar, and most people won't know the difference, especially in the air.
Longevity & Projection
This stuff performs! Expect 7-8 hours easily on skin, and it projects nicely for the first 2-3 hours. It leaves a noticeable scent trail without being obnoxious. On clothes? Easily a full day. The sillage is more of a cozy cloud than a screaming loudspeaker.
Final Thoughts
It's perfect for everyday wear, date nights, or when you just want that sweet, warm, slightly addictive scent bubble. Is it a perfect 1:1 dupe? No. But the small differences are negligible for most. it is a definite steal.
