How it Smells
Expose Intense bursts open with a juicy, if slightly synthetic, pineapple. The bergamot is present, but plays a supporting role. It leans similar to Legend Intense, perhaps 90% there. The heart brings in a pleasant red apple note, laced with a spicy cardamom kick. I miss the smoothness of the original here, there's a sharper, almost peppery edge that differentiates it. The drydown is where Expose Intense really shows its hand. The tonka bean and amber are prominent, creating a warm, sweet base. However, the cedar extract feels a bit rough around the edges, lacking the refined woodiness of Montblanc's offering.
Projection Power
Longevity is surprisingly decent point. Expect around 6-7 hours on skin, with moderate projection for the first couple of hours. It creates a noticeable scent bubble without being obnoxious. It's a workday fragrance, not a statement maker. If you crave that luxurious, expertly blended experience, stick with the original. But if you're on a budget and just want a pleasant, fruity-spicy scent for everyday wear, this is a worthwhile option. But for daily wear? Expose Intense gets the job done.
