Notes & Nuances
Floral Profumo by Maison Alhambra is, plainly put, a very good dupe of Gucci's Bloom Profumo di Fiori. Right away you get that blast of jasmine and a green sweetness that's pretty close to the real deal. Honestly, I'd say it's 85-91% similar, especially in the opening. The heart amps up the tuberose and ylang-ylang which gives it a creamy, almost bubblegum vibe. Where it differs is the drydown. Bloom Profumo di Fiori has this honeyed, almost resinous depth that’s missing here. Instead, you get a cleaner musk with a bit of benzoin sweetness. A *tiny* bit synthetic smelling at first, but that fades pretty fast.
Bottom Line
Floral Profumo is a steal. If you love Bloom Profumo di Fiori but don't want to shell out the big bucks, this is an excellent alternative. Is the original *better*? Yes, slightly. But is it ten times better? Absolutely not. This is a great everyday floral for spring and summer; perfect for the office, brunch, or running errands. Anyone who enjoys white florals will find something to like here. Blind buy worthy if you like the original.
Performance Reality Check
Longevity is surprisingly decent. I get about 6-7 hours on my skin, which is respectable for a floral. Projection is moderate; noticeable for the first couple of hours, then it settles closer to the skin. This isn't a beast mode fragrance, but it creates a nice, personal scent bubble.
