The Verdict
Oasis is a warm weather, daytime fragrance that would be appropriate for casual occasions. The sweetness might be overpowering in more formal settings. The immaturity makes it most appropriate for younger crowds.
Scent Breakdown
Oasis charges out of the gate with a cloying apple candy sweetness, not the crisp green apple promised. The coconut is oddly artificial, like cheap sunscreen. Wild berries manifest as a generic mixed fruit jam. The heart offers a brief glimpse of something floral, but it's quickly buried under a wave of confectionary sweetness. Jasmine struggles to break through, lily-of-the-valley presents as a soapy note, and the rose is nonexistent. The drydown is dominated by a sickly sweet vanilla and caramel, with a lingering synthetic musk that smells vaguely of baby wipes. It misses the mark compared to its inspiration. The missing sophistication results in a juvenile composition.
Longevity & Projection
On my skin, Oasis lasts about 5-6 hours. The projection is initially strong, reaching beyond arm's length, but it quickly settles down to a skin scent after about two hours. I tested it during an average work day in an air-conditioned office and a short outdoor walk.
